We meet on Zoom, 2 or 3 times a month (dependent on package). Each session is 45 minutes. We will have agreed on a regular day/time, Subject to availability, you can amend this when necessary #RealLife.
We'll review how last week went. Explore what went well and how you can amplify that. What didn't go to plan and what adjustments could be made. Check back in with your bigger vision. Map out your priorities for the next week/month.
This isn't about me telling you what to do. But helping you uncover what works for you, your projects, your ways of working, your circumstances.
Short answer. No.
The action plan from the previous week provides a natural starting point for us to review. The conversation tends to then flow organically as we identify what needs attention to maintain your momentum.
That said, real life happens. And clients often open a session with a thought download of whatever is on their mind. Sharing what has proved frustrating, challenging, or overwhelming. We get to explore this and seek to dial down the emotion and move back into aligned action.
Therapy generally looks to the past to understand and address how those experiences might be impacting present day thoughts, emotions and behaviours.
Coaching is more future focused. Starting with where you are now and looking ahead to what you'd like to achieve. This can be across many areas of life: business, relationships, health, etc.
Coaching is non-directive, ie you won't be told what to do. It is a non-judgemental space to explore your options and identify obstacles, Obstacles can be practical as well as more mindset related, eg limiting beliefs, confidence, assumptions about how things can be done, etc.
